The codification of Swiss Labor Law is mainly aimed at regulating contractual aspects that the parties have not themselves specified and guaranteeing a minimal content, in particular to ensure protection of the workers. This concerns in particular the employment contract which, like any other contract, is subject to the principle of contractual freedom.
